Zambia’s 🇿🇲 Copper Queens yesterday drew 1-1 against Mali in a training match ahead of Saturday’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations opening fixture against hosts Morocco 🇲🇦 .
Striker Fridah Mukoma secured the goal for the Coper Queens who are now winless in three matches ahead of Saturday’s crucial fixture.
The match was played in Mohamedia where both Zambia and Mali had camped.
The WAFCON is a huge test for Nora Hauptle who took over the team early this year after Bruce Mwape reign.
Nora appears to be struggling to find her feat but is expected to pull off a strong bid at the continental tournament where Zambia must face Senegal 🇸🇳 & the Democratic Republic of Congo 🇨🇩 in Group A.
Zambia & Morocco will play the first match of the tournament on Saturday evening.
