Zambia Police has confirmed the arrest of Faith Musonda and she is likely to be charged with an offence of conduct likely to cause breach of peace.
This is after she allegedly stormed community house, the residence of Republican President Hakainde Hichilema around 01:00 this morning.
Musonda is said to have gone to community house to demand for answers as to why her criminal court cases have taken long.
According to Assistant Police Public Relations Officer Godfrey Chilabi, Musonda will be charged with conduct likely to cause a breach of peace and is currently detained at Woodlands Police Station.
This is not Musonda’s first run-in with the law. In 2024, the Economic and Financial Crimes Court forfeited her properties worth over K21 million to the State, suspected to be proceeds of crime.
The properties were linked to a 2021 incident where Musonda was found with K65 million, US$57,900, and a house worth over K6 million, all suspected to be proceeds of crime.
