The family of former government minister Dr. Chishimba Kambwili has expressed concern over his deteriorating health while serving a five-month prison sentence.
His nephew, Charles Kabwita, says Dr. Kambwili, who suffers from diabetes and high blood pressure, has not received the necessary medical attention since his incarceration.
Kabwita has appealed to authorities to urgently allow Dr Kambwili access to proper medical care, warning that his condition could become life-threatening if not addressed.
