FAZ will now face $10, 000 fine after the arrogant Chipolopolo coach Avram Grant snubbed a mandatory press briefing at the on going African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Kenya.
Last month, FAZ was also slapped with a $5000 fine after a Copper Queens assistant coach allegedly clashed with a CAF official at the WAFCON.
In two months, the expatriate coaches hired by Andrew Kamanga and now serving under the Keith Mweemba administration would have cost a cash starved FAZ of $15, 000.
The latest fine by CAF comes after Grant failed to show up for the mandatory pre-match press conference ahead of today’s match against the Democratic Republic of Congo 🇨🇩 at CHAN.
CAF told journalists at the Moi International Sports Centre yesterday that the press conference was cancelled because Zambia’s head coach did not show up.
Grant is an arrogant coach often dismissing Africans even though they are paying him and seldom respects journalists on the continent.
