I AM BROKEN 💔

A Defiled Child and a Pardoned Perpetrator
This afternoon, I visited a mother Ms Sara Kunda whose daughter was defiled by Kabinda few years ago. The case went to court, and the perpetrator was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
However, the president pardoned him on African Freedom Day after he served only a year and a few months. I’m left wondering what kind of justice this is. Wow just wow
The mother has been tirelessly seeking justice for her child, whose life was irreparably damaged by this heinous crime. The child doesn’t attend school due to trauma, is experiencing vision problems, and relies on pads daily, a mother who depends on piece work has to provide pads for the only daughter -She’s been to social welfare yet nothing has been done Listening to the mother’s story, I couldn’t help but feel her pain and wonder about the extent of presidential powers.
As I watched her cry, I asked myself: Who is she crying to? The law, the president, God, or the universe or maybe people without powers to change anything anyway? It’s heartbreaking that the person who could hear her cries is the same one who pardoned the perpetrator.
The child now requires special schooling, and I’m appealing to any organization that can provide assistance with having this girl in a special school. I’ll personally help with lenses to prevent further vision loss.
At this point I wish I could ask the president to reconsider the decision and convince this young girl that not everyone is bad. I’m truly heartbroken 💔. I wish I can ask the Vice President being a woman to go take a look at this child and her mother to understand the pain. I wish i had POWERS to do all this Lord.
